This post looks at why you should sponsor something. We realize that this is a different perspective than we usually provide in the sales area of this newsletter. The reason we are including this is just as you would need to determine why you would sponsor something your prospects are doing the same thing. When selling sponsorships it is important we look at things from our prospects perspective.
If you do any face to face selling you will find this article very helpful. In the association world I find that most selling is not done in person but it definitely has its place and can be quite effective. And how could we not include something for a site called "Marketing Donut?"
